Our Recruitment Process

All Consultants at WH Marks Sattin understand that in order to provide a successful placement, a stage by stage process has to be followed. The fundamentals of any given recruitment process can be understood from the list below.

  • Obtain and clarify a detailed job order, making sure that close attention is paid to the following:
    • Client's motivation to hire;
    • Time frame;
    • Permanent or Temporary?
  • Skills that are imperative and/or those which are not;
  • Contact Candidates by means of database search, referrals and selective approach;
  • Sell the opportunity to Candidates;
  • Manage the expectations of Client and Candidate in terms of salary, availability and skill set;
  • Present shortlisted Candidates to Client;
  • Prepare Candidate for first interview. Almost without exception, the first interview will take place in the offices of WH Marks Sattin. It is our view that the frame work for a successful outcome is built on a balance of trust and control and commitment between all parties involved;
  • Prepare Client for first interview;
  • Debrief both parties after first interview;
  • Prior to second interview, clarify again with both parties their expectations in terms of salary, availability and skill set;
  • Prepare both parties for second interview;
  • Debrief both parties after second interview;
  • Conduct reference checks;
  • Receive offer form Client;
  • Extend offer to Candidate;
  • Confirm start dates;
  • Prepare and debrief Candidate for resignation.
